Sugar Creek man shoots assault rifle outside and is now barricaded in his home

SUGAR CREEK, Mo.-- A man is barricaded inside a home in Sugar Creek. Police says they started getting calls around midnight about a man who was firing shots in the neighborhood early Thursday morning. Investigators say the man was outside shooting an assault rifle near Hackett and Vermont.

  7. I can pretty much guarantee that the guy was not shooting an assault rifle. They're illegal in all but rare cases. He likely was shooting a semi automatic rifle with accessories that look scary to brain dead journalists (is there any other kind?).
