Kansas responds to notice of allegations from NCAA

LAWRENCE, Kan. - The University of Kansas received a notice of allegations from the NCAA on Monday that alleges significant violations within its storied men's basketball program. The notice included multiple Level 1 violations tied primarily to recruiting, lack of institutional control and a responsibility charge leveled against Hall of Fame coach Bill Self.

  1. Next week KU will announce its withdrawal from the NCAA and formation of the ABACUS (American Basketball Associated Conference of the United States), and invite all Schools who agree that these arbitrary Rules don't apply to them to join the new League!

  2. Kansas Jayhawks paid their basketball players and are cheaters. Everyone locally knew it but the KU Star would never investigate in order to not upset their Johnson County KU subscribers.

KU JAYHAWKS = CHEATERS, ONLY WAY FOR KANSAS TO WIN IS FOR KANSAS TO PAY PLAYERS AND TO CHEAT; WHY ELSE WOULD ANYONE GO TO KANSAS ?

KU ALUM'S PUFFING OUT THEIR LITTLE BIRD CHESTS BRAGGING ABOUT THEIR PRECIOUS JAYHAWKS IS A BIG JOKE NOW THAT IT IS PUBLIC THAT KU WAS PAYING ITS PLAYERS TO PLAY FOR THEM. CHEATERS.

  3. More than a year ago, Kevin Kietzman, former 810 Sports host, pretty much nailed all of this happening. The guy had a crystal ball that other sports talk show hosts in this town can only hope to own. I can't believe how spot on he was about this embarrassment to KU basketball coming to a head. Self should leave now. He let this happen under his watch and/or knew all about it. Sure looks that way. He got tired of playing by the rules in order to catch Duke, Kentucky, etc. in the recruiting wars and now it's stained his reputation and that of the university.

  4. No wonder they have turned their attention to Football.

  5. And yet a federal judge and the FBI defended Kansas - strange

  8. Even many KU fans want to see Kietzman come back to 810 AM. The talent brought in isn't getting the job done. It's painful. They know they blew the Kietzman-Reid story out of proportion and let it go way too far and now miss a sports radio host in KC who has the cahoonas to bring the warts on the behind of KU sports to the forefront so this kind of crap with Self and his cronies doesn't happen again. Petro is married to a KU grad so he's been giving fairly comatose and sophomoric commentary on what's going down and seems to be giving some credence that he believes KU was just doing what all the blue bloods in college basketball are doing, so no big deal with the cheating. Years ago, Petro would have brought some heat to this kind of scandal. Not any longer.
