Police say no officers hurt -- Police in Independence are investigating an officer-involved shooting Thursday night involving a Jackson County deputy.

  3. I don't understand you point Tony. This wasn't part of an increased patrol. This was the Sheriff's Department serving warrants which is a primary function of the agency.
