KCPS Students Suffer Gunfire Life Lessons

Tragic think piece about rising violence impacting the NEXTGEN and a glimpse at the KCMO cycle of violence in action. Take a look:

Three KC public schools students were shot in nine days. Can anyone stop the bloodshed?

Emanuel and Jannie Hall's great grandchildren were victims of a shooting Wednesday evening. Zavien Hall, 17, was killed, and Jazmine Hall, 7, was injured after being shot six times. Three days into this new school year, a team of grief counselors walked into East High School in Kansas City to provide support for students and staff members distraught over the shooting death of a classmate.

  2. We're are betting on the effective and well-thought-out proposals of the one-year-long Jolie Justus "anti-crime" task force to kick in and have great effects any day now.
What ever happened to her, by the way?
Willfully ignoring the core of the problem continues to be the modus operandi for local electeds and others responsible for public safety in KCMO.
How's the gay world series and the downtown baseball stadium nonsense coming along?
    It never changes.

  5. The key here is that they were merely shot...they did not die so they do not count. So do not worry all is well in the KCMO public schools, just part in parcel of living in a diverse city. Get over it.

  6. Let’s ban public schools. Oh, and if someone would please have Chimpy neutered and get him a muzzle, that would be great. #neuterchimpy
