KCK Broke-Ass Baseball Double Play

Life is give and take for this local hobo team and only in the Kansas City metro could a winning club confront homelessness because of local government incompetence and a great deal of bad debt & planning. Take a peek:

Playoff-bound T-Bones may be without home for championship

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The playoff-bound Kansas City T-Bones' season may not be done before the team is evicted from its Unified Government-owned home in Kansas City, Kansas. The reigning American Association of Independent Professional Baseball champion T-Bones wrapped up the regular season Monday with a 9-5 lost against the Sioux City Explorers at JustBats Field in Kansas City, Kansas.

  1. I wouldn't be surprised if the T-Bones fate doesn't happen to Sporting soon. The MLS business model is a glorified pyramid scheme. Eventually, it's all going down.

You built a stadium for a semi-pro baseball team in a league where teams fold all the time and the Unified Government now has egg all over their face.

I thought it then and I still think it now. That stadium will have concerts and WYCO HS football games and athletics.

  2. The UG bought the stadium from the T-Bones, to help them out.

  3. Also with MLS the pyramid expansion of teams waters down the talent pool, which is already pretty meager. Nobody wants to play soccer in the USA because not many people here give a shit. It's on track to be just like arena soccer, or whatever the Comets/Attack were
