KANSAS CITY TAX FIGHTERS REEXAMINE 'CORRUPTING INFLUENCE' OF JACKSON COUNTY COMBAT AMID AUDIT DRAMA!!!

A rare, worthwhile tweet we noticed today questions courthouse spending as debate on how cash has been spent by the current Administration rages on with little to no impact on rising crime.

Checkit:

"Jackson Co's COMBAT tax has been unimpressive for years. It should be discontinued for failing to show results and being a corrupting influence."

#TBT political reference . . .

IMMORTAL COMBAT?

Money line back then . . .

"Good public policy requires more than good intentions; it requires good outcomes. Crime and drug prevention efforts in Jackson County seem to be failing badly—and not because of a lack of funding.

"Taxpayers deserve an honest accounting of how the County is spending their money and making a difference for the better."

You decide . . .

  1. When was the last time either Jackson County or KCMO government discontinued and defunded a "program" because it was "ineffective and a corrupting influence"?
The list of worthless projects, programs, and nonprofits is much too long to include.
Special deals for insiders, grifters, and campaign contributors and none of these elected cowards have the guts to cut them off and spend the taxpayers' money on something that at least has a chance of getting results.
Somebody please go pick up Lucas off the picket line and get him back to work.

  2. Lucas spends too much time in his favorite gay bar in Lawrence to get involved with actually fixing anything in K.C.
