Kansas City Millenials Save The World With Consumerism, Marketing & Hype

Public radio encourages local branding efforts disguised as advocacy that might or might not help have any impact on the Earth's magnetic field changing.

Kansas City Millenials Fight Climate Change With Clotheslines, Hybrid Cars And Activism

The results of global climate change are becoming readily apparent, and it's affecting the younger generations inheriting a world of extreme weather. In Kansas City, some young adults aren't apathetic about this existential threat to the planet. They're ditching gas-guzzling cars, using clotheslines instead of the dryer, even considering not having children.

  1. What are they running for? Or just looking to be appointed to something and exert power over taxpayers as unelecteds?

  3. This all reminds me of the Temperance movement, which lead to prohibition. It’s always group of do goofing no it alls who force their superiority complex on everyone else
But as usual, eventually people get tired of them and shove them out of the way

  5. this is how affluent we all are in this country. These people have the need to seek out problems in their lives that don't exist. It's a desire to create "something to stand for", and can be argued that this "woke environmentalism" is taking the place of religion.

    1. I agree with you that at this time, they are not trying to impose a law but I’ve seen this movie many times
Remember, all they wanted to do was put a warning label on a pack of cigarettes. That’s all, nothing more

  12. TOP PHOTO -- EXTINCT IN 12 YEARS?

How bad does KCUR suck? Let's look at their article.

Here's the headline: "Kansas City Millenials Fight Climate Change With Clotheslines, Hybrid Cars And Activism"

Since the article is about MILLENNIALS, you'd think they could spell the word correctly. But this is liberal propagandist KCUR, so they're too busy trying to brainwash the youth.

Next, here's the caption underneath the photos: "Cole Strickland, Emily Hurley and Sierra West are all changing are responding to climate change by adjusting how they live."

Does this sentence make sense? No, it does not.

So both the title and photo caption, the first 2 things, are incorrect or nonsensical. Kind of like KCUR itself!!!

  13. On 1 June 2017, President Donald Trump announced that he would withdraw the United States from the Paris Agreement, an international accord that seeks to “bring all nations into a common cause to undertake ambitious efforts to combat climate change and adapt to its effects.” Many environmentalists, scientists, politicians, and others criticized President Trump’s decision,
