KC food truck vendors to meet about First Fridays
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Crossroads Community Association lost their liability insurance after the deadly shooting last month, when Erin Langhofer was killed at the August First Friday event. Because of the loss, food trucks won't be permitted at the event in September. Michael Bradbury is a longtime food truck owner.
I think it shows the lack of inteligence that the crossroads event leaders of 1st Friday, blame food trucks for the homicide at their last event. And if they are not passing the buck and blaming them, why are they now banned. I only ever came to that dumb event for the street food. The KCMO health dept highly restricts where mobile food venders can sell, and thats only becuase the brick and mortor gigs pay more in taxes and have the city in their back pocket...so much for a Free country, well at least in the shithole of KCMO.
