Kansas City Chiefs Hype Backfires

Off-season hype throughout the year might be putting the team at a disadvantage as they already seem banged up in the first game. Take a look at a response to so many cringe-y endorsement deals:

Heated game vs. Jaguars shows Chiefs have target on back

The Kansas City Chiefs helped solidify their status as one of the top teams in the AFC on Sunday afternoon by defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars, 40-26. But there's a cost to being at the top, and Jack sonville's defense gave Kansas City a taste of how every team should be playing them from here on out.

  1. Just like last year, the defense was horrible. A rookie backup quarterback carved them up for 22-25.

  3. Minschew was accurate but his passes did no damage. NFL D's will give that stuff up all day long.

  4. So much hype backfiring. I mean all the hype! The hype just up and backfired on everybody! So many people got hyped, then it straight up and backfired on us all. I don't know how it backfired, but if Tony says it did, by God it did alright!! I mean the streets are full of all the hype that backfired!

  5. Protect the quarterback or there will be no victorious season at the super bowl. Defense must be a brick wall and sacks feared by other teams. They must become a solid unit. Raiders game is going to be nasty and dirty. They want blood, to see them bleed, careers destroyed, and they don't care. Be ready. Most teams goal is to take out the good players or maim them. Shield the quarterback or the checks start to bounce. You got bills and family too to take care of. On the sidelines laughing at the rider on the golf cart or who made a tent run. Thumbs in the eyes, kneed, unnecessary roughness and referees intentionally missing call. Coming at you live. You wan it, well there is a price. Be prepared son, be prepared.
