KANSAS CITY CATHOLIC LEADERS PUBLISH NAMES OF DEAD, FIRED AND IMPRISONED PRIESTS ACCUSED OF SEXUAL ABUSE!!!

After persistent demands from activists, today Kansas City Catholic leadership submits and offers up the names of so many disgraced priests.

Here's the most important part of their statement . . .

Bishop of Kansas City – St. Joseph James V. Johnston, Jr.: "In releasing this list my first hope is that it will acknowledge the survivors of clergy sexual abuse and their wounds. Not long ago, one abuse survivor told me, “Bishop, we cannot heal until these wounds are brought into the light. If no one knows about them, they are still there, festering and poisoning the Church.” The release of these names cannot change the past. It is merely a step forward in hope, but a necessary step. All sin is terrible, but the sins of clerics who betray the sacred trust to care for little ones is especially egregious. Jesus himself singled out this betrayal as particularly wicked in the eyes of God. The anger at these sins is fully justified."

Notice the important blame shift and fact check from the Bishop who speaks to the treachery of predator priests against the strict moral code of The Church.

And so we ask:

WILL THIS CONFESSION HELP SAVE KANSAS CITY CATHOLIC CREDIBILITY, STRENGTHEN THE RESOLVE OF DETRACTORS AND/OR DISHEARTEN THE FAITHFUL?!?!?

The only thing for certain is that Kansas City Catholics remain mired in this controversy and continue to search for salvation. It seems that today's step involving painful disclosures and commitment to public accountability might the only path toward finally seeing the light.

  1. Like any good criminal conspiracy, they gave them nothing and they got nothing. Boss Tom would be proud.

    1. ^^^ Grow up. KC Catholics need take responsibility for their actions and own up to the decades of damage they have inflicted on their parishioners and the community. This might be a good first step but it's not the end of it.

    2. Just like Tyreek, wouldn't want these priests left along with youngsters either.

  2. Well, I guess it's somewhat comforting to know that my donations are going to Catholic lawyers and thereby feeding Catholic kids.

  3. When will the Baptist, Protestants, Episcopalians and especially the gay ass mooselimbs publish their list? That’s what I thought.

  4. I didn’t see Father Hugh G Rection on the list.

  5. Many Catholic girls are raped by priests. it doesn't make the news. Even woman's right groups don't care. As the girls are not yet women I guess. Being a priest is the perfect way for a pervert to rape kids and get the protection of the worlds largest landowner, and religion. Its a Jeff Epstein organization yet 10,000 bigger than his operation.

  6. KC Catholics are showing accountability. I wish other faith groups would start doing the same.

  8. This list was not news. Every name on it has been in the news for at least a decade.
S.N.A.P. just likes the clickbait and the donations.

  9. ^^^ Wrong, the bishop's statement was newsworthy and it's time that some Catholics finally started admitting their disgusting history since they so often get so high & mighty about berating everyone else.

  10. ^^^ What in the hell are you blathering about? These guys have been in the news since the 1990's for this stuff. The church hasn't hidden their names. You just haven't been paying attention.

  11. The Church released the names of 19 out of how many?
Does the fact that 13 of those named have died and the remaining 6 have been kicked out have any significance?

Is the Church trying to imply that these are the only 19 "suspects", or are we seeing an attempted coverup while more "emergency transfers" to other parishes are still the order of the day?

  12. ^^^So, if you know more, let's hear the names and locations. Post their names here or contact S.N.A.P. with your information. They will gladly post them.
