Less than 20 years ago this local community enforced strict standards related to building codes, now neighborhood seem just a bit more permissive and open toward developer schemes. Checkit:
OP leaders to discuss request to illuminate office buildings
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Before the developer of a series of office buildings in Overland Park, Kansas, can turn on a lighted artwork display on the roofs, he needs the city to write rules for such an illumination. Currently Overland Park does not have any rules in the books when it comes to lighted displays on the roofs of buildings.
If there are no rules - they why the fuck to they need to ask permission from the government? Do these fucks know what America is? Its not a place to ask permission of the government. Its a place where the government asks permission of the people.
