Former Board of Ed Building Sold to Copaken Brooks, Demolition Likely
The former Board of Education building at 1211 McGee has been sold by the school district to downtown real estate powerhouse Copaken Brooks in a transaction that closed last week.
Jon Copaken, principal of the firm, said that while there are no immediate development plans for the 2.5-acre site next door to the Sprint Center, the nine-story building likely will be razed.

ReplyDeleteYou're mostly right, 8:11pm.
ReplyDeleteBut the KCMO story always has a couple more chapters.
Promise, promise, promise.
Subsidize, subsidize, subsidize.
Excuse, excuse, excuse.
In this case, it won't take long for the rest of the story to unfold.
It never changes.
That building is a standing example of the education system in KC. That is it's not worth a shit and was destroyed years ago.
ReplyDeleteCopaken won’t do anything with the building until he gets massive taxpayers subsidies!! The master of corporate welfare!!!!
ReplyDelete^^^^ Absolutely correct.
ReplyDeleteCopaken Brooks and Troy Schulte should put their crazy ass wannabe 5 STAR Bravo Hotel in that building. It is closer to city hall and the Sprint Center. Troy and Quinton could more easily meet Copaken there for their daily 3-way cock suck and swallow.
