Clay County commission appeals judge's order to restore nearly $1M to sheriff's budget

CLAY COUNTY, Mo. - There's another legal battle within the Clay County government. The county commission is fighting to uphold its decision to slash the sheriff's budget. In a series of two to one votes, the commission cut the Clay County Sheriff's Office budget by well more than half over the last couple years.

  2. Where's the attack on Nolte?
Every time Ridgeway and Owen pull some of their horseshit like this, they or one of their accomplices posts some lies about the only Commissioner trying to do right by the Residents of Clay County.

And as far as the (very well paid) outside Attorney blathering about how "filing an appeal only cost the County 5% of what filing the original lawsuit cost", so what? If your two sleazebag Clients hadn't cut the Sheriff's budget by 50% in what has already been determined by the Court to be an act of retaliation, 105% of the cost of the lawsuit and appeal would have been saved.

This is just another blatant effort by the two Council Members who have already cost the County an immense amount in outside Legal Fees trying to continue their actions which have in the main been struck down by Courts over and over.

STOP IT, LUANNE AND GENE! JUST STOP!
    EHOUGH IS ENOUGH!
STOP WASTING OUR TAX MONEY ON YOURSELVES!
    HAVE THE DECENCY TO RESIGN!
    PLEASE!

  3. 10:42. "...two Council Members..." What??? You have confused the clients you are trolling for.
The developers you are trolling for, on this issue, are trying to control Clay County not KC.
Remind Jeff Roe that even his politics ain't beanbag mantra should allow you to occasionally tell the truth and not lie and mis-state facts.

  4. I remember back in 2004 when Luann wanted to run for Senate she begged Jeff Roe to run her campaign. Nice try 12:35.
