TKC Saturday Night Playlist: Kansas City Chiefs Block Internets Streaming Access!!!

Just a quick note blasted far and wide . . .

"CBS/KCTV 5 blocks the Chiefs game on the Internet and for Youtube TV watchers. Wish they would tell the public about their efforts to protect their monopoly. Too bad it's fading fast."

To be fair, pre-season games are for suckers and people who openly admit they have no lives.

And all of this inspires our Saturday night playlist that's just a collection of old Led Zeppelin songs just for fun.

As always, thanks for reading this week and have a safe and fun Saturday night.

  1. The Chiefs should be great this season. Kind of unfair that anything less than a Super Bowl will be considered a failure.

That being said, they've still got a shot.

  2. 8:14. Agree. But they just can’t get past new england

    1. Absolutely agree another 15-1 season that's essentially meaningless.

    1. Wildman, we love you too. It's too bad you don't understand Free Speech or anything that's off script for mainstream garbage. Maybe that's why you haven't really accomplished anything worthwhile. That's not hate, keep trying we love you!

  5. I really like tkc. Come here for all my news and to see what's really happening in KC. This is a great resource for a lot of information that's either glossed over or ignored by the mainstream media. When I don't like his all the hate directed towards the sports teams. We are really lucky in Kansas City to be home to so many championships and such a great history in local sports. Do what you want, but maybe think about realizing that sports are one of the few bright spot's I've Kansas City.

^^It's not rigged. Take off, the tin foil hat.

I have never liked Led Zeppelin. They are an overrated long haired, pretty boy band.

I'll take Jefferson Airplane for $200, Alex, because today is the fiftieth anniversary of Wood Stock & they were there along with Santana, Richie Havens & a little hippy girl lighting candles in the rain.

  7. Get a broadcast antenna to watch local; including Chiefs games.

And, preseason games are for people who are smart enough to do their homework when it comes to sports.
I got tonight’s tickets for $10 on Stub Hub; compared with triple digits for regular season.

There is a 50/50 chance that Epstein is still dead.

This is what redpilling a nation looks like.

Now, everybody is a conspiracy theorist.

    Enjoy the Show

  9. What is a redpill or a redpilling? Please.

And I have to say, Mahomes to Kelce for 36 yards--that felt great to me.
A 15-1 season is NOT a waste. It's a warmup, like the Royals.
The fact we didn't get Patrick on the field in the overtime? Well, a crappy rule.
And we have beaten the Patriots.
I agree, we are lucky to have an NFL team.
I also loved the new TV spot with Mahomes not knowing where EAST was, and tossing footballs from his back yard into the BBQ's of his neighbors, and then we see him from the back, walking down the street like a big kid (ala the 1988 movie, "BIG", the movie with Tom Hanks where he grew from a boy to a man) with bags of Hyvee groceries to apologize. That is a brilliant spot. Good work, Hyvee (from my hometown, Des Moines.) And of course, the subliminality of Mahomes ruining the dinners for people who live where??? in the East! eg Patriots...

And thank you to the commenter reminding the tech-obsessed kids who have turned off cable to just get a broadcast antenna ($39, hang behind a picture on your wall--you DO have original art in your home, I hope???? from the art show at the Fringe Festival???)---
and watch the Chiefs on a real big screen TV, not your silly iPhone.
Cuz if you're that desperate, just listen to the radio play by play.

  10. Listen to the chief's on radio ROX !!! What is great is watching them game's , volume off , radio station cranked up !!!

  11. 8:07 is correct. The pre-season games are almost intolerable with the diarrhea-mouthed announcers who ignore the game in favor of listening to themselves talk.

  12. Heck, hang your broadcast antenna in plain sight, it would be an improvement on anything the Freak Festival tried to peddle.

Apparently, even though the Season has just started, the Sports Fan @7:43 is already rooting for the Chiefs to win the World Series!

  13. Whining about not getting the ball in overtime is ridiculous. Try winning it in the first 4 quarters. Its like complaining about that field goal Lin Elliot missed. Would have had a better outcome if you hadnt mucked up chance after chance to put points on the board.

  14. Dish Network has dropped Meredith Broadcasting affiliates, along with dropping Fox Sports Midwest, so local Royals and Chiefs fans like me couldn't watch either team this weekend. Guess who's yanking the damned satellite dish off his roof this week? I'll put up an over-the-air antenna, stream HBO and other content off the internet and bad-mouth the hell out of Dish every chance I get.
