The cost of water continues to rise which is unfortunate because we need more of it to wash away the increasing amount of blood on local streets.

Higher taxes for Kansas City water are exceptionally insidious given that politicos promise the measures will help keep rates down which never seems to happen.

ReplyDeleteOwner-occupied homes can go to tax sale if they have unpaid water bills that are late. At tax sale, investors can buy that debt from the city — important revenue for a cash-strapped City Hall — and can foreclose if homeowners don’t pay.
