KC Water wastewater facilities overloaded Monday by rain

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Rainfall caused wastewater to overflow into local creeks Monday, according to KC Water. The heavy rainfall overwhelmed the Buckeye Creek Pump Station on Northeast Birmingham Road and the Burlington Creek Pump Station on Northwest Green Hills Road.
