  1. This would have been news if they would have done it 5 years ago when suggested.

  2. Another example of wyco wasting tax payers money.

  3. Try making 3 payments out of 48 and see if you get 2 years before getting evicted for non payment for your utility bills. The rule of law only applies to the poor and more class I guess.

  4. So, those years of freebies to the cronies club must have put a big dang ol' dent in this Dotte shell game. Oh well, perhaps a buyer keeps KCK from biting another big one like the $2.8 million loss from Backfire BBQ and the restaurant's contents auction fraud, in addition. Too generous in T-Bones tax break deals while doling out gratis tickets and more to the already well paid admin buds of UG and BPU and others, is shades of more "screw you" taxpayers. Annually discounting group purchases for a few select youth organizations, military veterans, and public safety personnel DOES NOT burden the Chiefs, Royals, Sporting, and NASCAR. T-bones had its run....game over. I bet they'll deadbeat Dotte on the billed debts!

  5. Well, there goes good Baseball in the KC Metro.

  6. I went to a Tbones game. Once. In 2004. Game over.

  7. Independence came very close to having the same problem when the Central Hockey league folded. They were bailed out by the merger with the ECHL but had that not happened there would have been an empty arena for years. When a private investor is unwilling to fund their projects because they are too risky then why do cities think they should?
