Serving Kansas City East Crossroads

The parking is better at this KCMO hipster restaurant reboot but the location is sketchy.

Nevertheless, KC always shares a great deal of love for "creative class" transplants. The "Superman effect" remains strong in this cowtown as the power of local hype energizes visitors to greater heights than they would have ever reached if they would've stayed in bigger, better towns.

Check the description:

Kansas City native Ryan Brazeal shipped out to New York City to hone his culinary skills before bringing his craft back to the Midwest. Throw in Jessica Armstrong’s exquisite desserts, and you have a recipe for enjoyment. Novel has turned New-American cuisine to “Novel-American cuisine” in the Crossroads. Using ingredients from local farmers, Novel creates dishes like Crispy Egg. Come in to enjoy Novel’s dishes, as well as the nearly 50-foot mosaic that sprawls across the wall of the restaurant.

Take a look:

You decide . . .

Hang in there, keep trying, don't give up!
Maybe someday the lowlifes that constitute the population of the Kansas City Area will somehow rise to the lofty level of genius you exist on. Maybe!
