After 18 years in the same location, Los Alamos Market y Cocina, located at 17th and Summit in the Westside, received quite a facelift this spring. Owner Agustin Juarez and his son, Benito, decided it was time to reinvent their business model to stay relevant to the changing needs of the neighborhood.

  6. It's good, but it's not better than some of the restaurants along Independence Ave. or St. John, or on Central in KCK.

  7. Best damn steam table in town, lovely lovely ownership, kind and good people. may they truly prosper. the costillos verdes is incredible and worth the money. they pay rent to a nasty yuppie trustafarian who owns the building, but Augustine and his family are wonderful.
