Rep. Sharice Davids Insulin Price Check

Credit where it's due . . . This Kansas politico will make a lot of allies with an issue that's a big deal to an aging population from The Dotte to rural Kansas . . . Insulin is a costly healthcare commodity and more people must go on it every day . . . Here's a bit of medical industrial complex push back that neither her predecessor nor her challengers would have bothered to conduct. Take a look:

  1. If a tree falls in the forest and there's no one there, is there any sound?
Sharice is a clueless clown and an embarrassment.
And she'll be gone in November 2020.

  4. Sharice has made herself more visible in the district than any recent Reps. Maybe you should reach out if you have a problem 6:08. But then again, I suspect you're just pissy it's a Democrat Rep and a woman, and oh shit, she's gay. The fucking horrors for a straight white dude (I'm assuming) like yourself!

  5. Sharice Davids is full of crap and if you believe she is going to do something you are a FOOL. She will NOT and has NOT done a damn thing except tell the American white people she wants you dead and praises the people that killed whites over 200 years ago. She doesn't have a clue what to do about health costs and wants you to fall for her re election scam. DON'T DO IT FOOL

  6. ^^and yet she's in Congress and making a difference and you're here. She wins. Weird.

  7. Supply and demand. Look at the rising rates of diabetes. Not surprisingly a Dem wouldn't be able to understand that.

  8. ^^^ That depends what you mean by supply and demand.

The increased supply should actually make the market more efficient and lower prices.

The elementary economic model you're talking about is for lemonade stands not market economies of scale that are being hobbled by corporate greed.

If you want to talk about financial issues, please come prepared.

I'm not going to vote for Sharice Davids but on this issue she is correct. There needs to be more financial oversight.

  11. 8:24 apparently has no idea about elasticity of demand and it's applications. You're fucking dumb, go away.

  12. dang, she should get in the insulin manufacturing market. Sounds like there's a LOT of money to be made making cheaper insulin and someone could take advantage of it. win, win!

  13. Davids is only repeating what has been talked about for time now. She as others in the past will do nothing but open their pie holes and make you think they really give a shit. When there is much demand for something in the medical field you will usually see that as costing the most because the drug companies know they have you by the short hairs and you either pay up or die. How can you say you care about lives when you wear or have worn clothing that says your heros killed people?

  14. Damn, that Sharice is one stupid bitch.

  15. ^^and yet she's not the one here all day like you. Weird.

  16. 0824 You know very little if anything about the pharmaceutical business, those rascals are Robber Barons at best. If you believe the altruistic rubbish PR they put out, perhaps, I could interest you in the Kit Bond Bridge?

  17. Market economies of large scale are as much subject to supply and demand principles as competing lemonade stands. Interference, which is injurious to the consuming public, comes from rent seeking and government intervention, but not from "corporate greed" (i.e. the drive to protect and maximize shareholder value). When you walk into a gunfight, 8:37, you should at least bring a pea shooter.

  18. ^^^^What have you been smoking?

  19. or she could support Medicare for All to do the same thing

    ReplyDelete
  20. Is she calling for transparency on Scissor prices too?

    ReplyDelete
  21. 1309 is correct crony capitalism is the name of the pharmaceutical game. To her credit Davids is doing her job and representing the interests of her district. Among others afflicted with diabetes in the district, are the Native Americans and diabetes is endemic in that population. So the drug companies profiteering hits them, especially, hard. Kudos Davids for taking on a very powerful lobby and trying to help "the little man".
