Old School Chiefs Blight Kansas City

Golden Ghetto complaint could also apply to local entertainment district party places and how so many washed up footballers set up shop to talk with hotties about their glory days . . . Take a look:

Former Chiefs star's metro home now falling apart, becoming a frustration for neighbors

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- After two years of empty promises, a Kansas City sports icon has neighbors fuming. "It just collapsed," Sheila Rodriguez said as she pointed to a porch roof that was so rotted it landed on the front step of a dilapidated home in her stylish Johnson County neighborhood.

One of those tough situations. Hell, I'd buy it for pennies on the dolla' fix it and get some nice digs out by the upper class dealers rather than mine. But, bet that thing is over a hundred large in fines, penalties, liens, etc. that some unfortunate buyer would need to clear for a clean title. Then you still have at least a couple hundred large in work. All for a house then worth $350? Man, but the drugs would be right from the source.

Not much that can be done against Richardson if he never comes back to the area. The city needs to seize the property to pay back taxes and fines, have it repaired enough to be sellable and put it on the market. The scandal is as much about the city's inertia as Richardson's bad faith.

If it bothers them so much why don’t the neighbors clean up the mess in the yard, hell, when we were kids our parents made us clean up other peoples yards to keep the neighborhood nice, guess these spoiled rich people are too lazy. Oh well.

Let a jig move into the neighborhood and BOOM....the place looks like shit.

12:34 Don't be an idiot. That was another time and place today you can get sued for that it's called trespassing. Also the guy is a wealthy black man under affirmative action policies so what's that tell ya? And you want the working class neighboors to clean his mess. Geez You are one stupid person!

^^^and yet who would sue? Did you EVEN read the article? Idiot. Weird.

Sounds like a very diverse neighborhood with one rundown house.

That's stupid. The problem is the house is falling down, not the long grass and weeds.
