  1. The AG is right. He has no authority to award or withhold compensation. The claimant's lawyer is trying to game the system because she doesn't want to take a chance in court.

  2. Okay so he is let out of prison but as for being totally innocent of the crime it sounds questionable. I really think there is more to this story than meets the eye here. Plus it's always easy to go back and pick apart a case after this many years. If anyone is to blame for this man being in jail for 23 years it's the person who represented him at his trial.

  3. Read more like the AG said "I'm not in charge of who gets money, here's who you contact to pursue this". Don't know why the news would frame it that he's in charge of dispersing money.
