Couple charged in deadly shooting at Independence McDonald's

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City, Missouri, couple is facing murder charges in connection with a deadly shooting last month outside a McDonald's restaurant in Independence, Jackson County prosecutors said Thursday. Matthew Woodward, 34, was charged with second-degree murder, first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action in the July 14 death of Brian Jones Woodruff.

  3. He didn't hit the man he was shooting at and then tried to report the getaway car as stolen? That probably just led the cops right to his door. My neighbor was an inner city school teacher and she used to tell me her students weren't smart enough to be successful criminals. I think these two might have been in her class.
