Our favorite restaurants in the West Bottoms of Kansas City
Voltaire Voltaire was making the West Bottoms a hip destination before it was declared such by Kansas City's cool kids crowd (thanks to recent additions like The Campground and the updated Golden Ox). In 2013, owner Jill Myers and chef Wes Gartner opened with the intention of offering diners something a little unexpected.
Hmmmm, so eateries on the West Side are now in the West Bottoms too. Complicated.

ReplyDeleteSorry 9:55, they don't have an early bird special and don't play reruns of Murder She Wrote on the TV screens. Also, no AARP discount or geezer accessable restrooms.
DeleteKCMO SO HIP! TRENDY! VIBRANT! ROBUST!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry 9:55 if you have to ask you can't afford it. OT has a hot dog heated up for you.
ReplyDeleteLooks like QT puts out a better product then this joint.
ReplyDelete$14 for a basic breakfast
ReplyDeleteLOL
Most West Bottom restaurant customers are homosexuals and prefer to suck dick.
ReplyDeleteRestaurant reviewer gigs must be nice. Drive in from Leawood, eat your free meal, go home to Leawood, write a quick blurb saying how great KCMO's vibrant and wonderful eating scene is.
ReplyDeleteAnd you can hear shrieks of “racism” rising from yoga studios and cappuccino bars close by during your dinner.
ReplyDeleteKC Pinoy owner hates men so much. Beware.
