Kansas City Tax & Spend Ruckus Tonight

As usual, for the late night on Thursday we share this GOLD STANDARD consideration of politics, taxes and local best guesses from power player, pundits and cowtown experts.

Check the description:

"Mike Shanin talks to Kansas State Representative Brandon Woodard about some of his top priorities for his district in the Kansas legislature. Ron Freeman, Jason Grill, Gwen Grant and Patrick Tuohey discuss the latest in the Jackson County property tax assessment controversy, the truce in the Kansas and Missouri business Border War and the pros and cons for 2020 Democratic front-runner Joe Biden."

Take a look:

Comments

  1. The segment covering Jackson County was exceptionally good.

It started at 7:15, continues for a few minutes and basically covers some of the horrible decisions that have been costing the county and taxpayers hundreds of millions: https://youtu.be/m32bOQPY190?t=435

  7. We have a panel of All Star Idiots would have been a better choice.

    Roflmao your joking right?

  10. Obviously none of the panelists have done any serious research into the assessment train wreck.

  11. Tuohey's finally lost his mind. And credibility.

  12. Blanche: Oh look Mildred, Kansans have voted in another one of those LGBT's!

Mildred: Is he an Indian too?

Blanche: No, I think he's just a White guy.

    Mildred: Boring!

  13. Just because your assessment doubled, tripled, quadrupled, or even higher it doesn't mean your tax bill is going to go up?

    ROFLMAO

  14. 8:43, Tuohey was by far the highlight of the show, and made more sense than the rest of the commenters combined. If you claim he got something wrong, specify what.

  18. BREAKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ruckus panel caught opining while under the influence!

Joe Biden rated 8 out of 10 odds for winning Democratic nomination. WTF?

    FACTS
Joe Biden has trouble speaking and thinking clearly.

Joe Biden first ran for President in 1988! He's ANCIENT.

Joe Biden does not have the support of former President Obama, whom he served with as Vice President.

Joe Biden does not have the support of Hillary Clinton, whom he served with in the same administration and U.S. Senate.

Joe Biden has so many political skeletons in his family closet that President Trump would rattle his bones throughout the campaign.

As of now, the likely 2020 Democratic ticket will be Kamala Harris for President and Pete Buttigieg for V.P.
They always have a backup plan in case someone sticks their foot in their mouth and self-implodes, but the Harris/Buttigieg ticket was designed to capture all traditional Democrats and sway enough Independents/disaffected Republicans to pull out a win.

Spoiler Alert: Trump wins a 2nd term. It's already been settled.
