Kansas City Star Offers More Kander Tribute

There's not really any news past the paywall but local dead-tree media seemingly feels compelled to play catch-up after the NYT article earlier this week . . .

Tiny houses, big plans: Jason Kander launches his most ambitious campaign

After South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton, another 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful Beto O'Rourke visited Veterans Community Project on Troost Avenue. On the June night that Quinton Lucas won the Kansas City's mayor's race in a landslide, Jason Kander says he was not even thinking about what might have been had he stayed in the crowded contest he left to get treatment for post-traumatic stress.

  1. If this guy has post traumatic stress he should not be in any kind of politics and not a good choice for anyone to support. I think he's a fake and is using that for some reason.

  4. Just another example of the Star editorial board's cluelessness, irrelevance, and the ease at which a phony like Pander can wrap these clowns around his little finger.
    This is his "greatest" mission?
Greater than running for president, which, please recall, that he made believe he was doing while he was "fronting" for his previous nonprofit which was supposedly about "voting suppression".
If this is how easily the Star is manipulated, you really have to wonder about the rest of the "stories" in the paper.
How many tourists are there in KCMO, again?
    Hahahahaha!!

  5. ^^^I long ago stopped wondering about the stories in the Star. Reading the Star must be a lot like reading Pravda in the old USSR days. What's left out is usually more revealing than what's printed.

  6. FALLING STAR PROPAGANDA

"..he left to get treatment for post-traumatic stress."

    NO mention of DEPRESSION.

    NO mention of SUICIDAL THOUGHTS.

Heck, it's not even a disorder anymore, it's just good old PTS.

The Falling Star Editorial Board and Steve Krapske at KCUR radio are infected with a brain-eating organism known as Naegleria fowleri. And yes, it's a Progressive disease!

Next up? Both Panders emerge from the closet to announce they're members of the LGBTQ community.

  7. @9:03, that would be funny. They can still say they love each other, and stay married, they just woke up one morning and switched sides. Double checks on the SJW acceptance list.

  8. A Presidential Candidate with suicidal thoughts?

    No way.

He is finished, just like Eagleton was.

    Adios.

  9. His time has passed; he probably could have become mayor but that boat has sailed.

  10. Kander served his country proudly and much better than keyboard warriors.

  11. Pander raises the false flag with his contrived PTSD strategy. Fake soldier with fake affliction. He should apologize to real soldiers that really have emotional trauma.

  12. When he bowed out, he should have stayed out, but the Kanders cant breathe unless they have attention.
