As more insightful denizens of our blog community already point out . . . KCPD already confiscates guns from youngsters but this bit of legislation is moving forward to MUCH REJOICING.
KC mayor's plan for keeping guns from teens on verge of becoming law
Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas' plan for keeping guns away from teens is on the verge of becoming law. Recent events are propelling City Hall to act faster.
Teens are not emotionally mature enough to own any firearms. HOWEVER they do need something to protect themselves from many bad and dangerous people. I guess the city could give out pepper spray free to teens. But my guess is that teens will turn to knives, as the ones in London have done. In London there are many daily stabbings amoung teens, just like our shootings. Other kids, wanting guns, will steal them (but its now a felony, not some minor misdemeanor as it used to be).
ReplyDeleteIt doesn’t make any difference. Jean Petersucker Baker doesn’t aggressively or competently prosecute murder, rape or robbery committed by hood rat teens. Why would gun possession be any different?
ReplyDeleteThe best comment on this I’ve ever heard was 20 years ago. A female reporter was asking a gun supporter why he was teaching kids to shoot guns. She said “ aren’t you equipping them to be criminals”?

The current laws aren't being enforced by the demmocrap run cities and they alone are responsible for the out of control murderous blacks in these cities

The real cause of all this violence is wide-spread poverty. Within the black community the real unemployment/underemployment rates are staggering. Large numbers of young black males between the ages of 16-26 have no regular income other than other family members who are also unemployed/underemployed themselves. The USA, with all of its social welfare programs, is not a good place to be without any money. The criminal justice system makes it very hard for black males to get gainful employment if they have a criminal record. That is why so many black males are involved in drug and gang activity to try to get money to live. In the process, many turn to alcohol and drug which in turn leads to violence. Try living for 6 months or a 1 year with little of no money and see what kind of people you will be forced to deal with and what types of terrible things you will end up doing.
