Neighborhood leaders say new law to help clean up properties

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A new law dubbed the Good Neighbor Law was created to help give neighborhood associations a new tool to clean up abandoned properties. Under the law, neighborhood associations would be able to go onto the private property of abandoned houses and clean up trash, mow grass and board up windows if need be.

  2. Amazing City Officials can raise property taxes 400 to 1000 percent and still con people to work for free here enforcing laws that have been on the books for eons.

  4. If its abandoned there is nothing stopping them from doing so in the first place. what the hell the owner gonna do take em to court? they'll be in trouble themselves

  5. The neighborhood associations are corrupt enough without even more opportunities to infringe on the rights of the individual homeowners. The neighborhood associations spend thousands of dollars on insurance and lawyers to fight the neighbors and the money is collected from the neighbors. Eliminate the neighborhood associations.
