Don't worry he'll never be able to run for public office again . . . HOWEVER . . .
Given that former Mayor Funky has presided over another losing effort and might now need a new gig . . . There's word of work for him back in KC.
To wit . . .
KANSAS CITY TAX FIGHTERS HAVE ALWAYS HAD A SOFT SPOT FOR MARK FUNKHOUSER AND HIS THINK TANK EXPERIENCE MIGHT SOON HELP MISSOURI ACTIVISTS STEP UP THEIR PUBLISHING GAME!!!
Don't worry that his last two efforts tanked . . . In politics and publishing, people tend to FAIL upward.
Accordingly, the local discourse might want to make headway for the return of the towering expertise of a dude who has journeyed from one disaster to the next.
Developing . . .
We want the Funk! We want the Funk! Come back Funk :)
ReplyDeleteI think he knew the publishing gig was going to be short lived. But he is getting close to where he can retire spend more time with the family, catch more Grateful Dead concerts while doing some consulting jobs here and there. Regardless of what his brother says or thinks about him there are those who like the way the Funk does things.
ReplyDeleteOh the Funk, Oh the Funk, Oh the Funk is back....
ReplyDeleteIf Tony doesn’t want to share the masthead with him, the Funk can always partner with the now under employed Obese Bow tie, Sly James!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the picture of Mr Funkhouser. He is one ugly dude!
ReplyDeleteWhere is the Squid? If he’s coming back, she can’t be far behind. Oh my!
ReplyDeleteJim Rowland, a candidate for mayor got LESS VOTES than Mr Funkouser when he was voted out of office. Yes LESS VOTES.
ReplyDeleteBring me some Funk... And don't forget the Glo-ri-a.
ReplyDeleteWe need an accountant.
ReplyDeleteThe TKC surprise for 2019... Tony is Mark Funkhouser :)
ReplyDeleteIf he comes back the Chamber boys will hire full time PR people to discredit him.
ReplyDeleteI hope the Funk comes back. His days were the Golden Age of TKC. Now, it's pretty much turned to shit.

KC Star and a few privates should pay for the audit, and the publicized
analysis on cost/benefit/and integrity of process disciplines.
I think you can assume a lot of cash going to projects of limited benefit.
