  2. It used to be free and they keep raising the entrance fee when they have very few costs. The city own the park. The entertainment is provided by the various groups for free. The vendors pay to be there and you have to pay for food. They city is making money from this event when it should be free.

  3. By the time you pay $5 to get in and then buy food, you could go to a nice local ethnic restaurant for less.
