KANSAS CITY 2019 HOMICIDE #82: DEADLY VIOLENCE CONTINUES ON LOCAL STREETS AFTER MAYOR QUINTON SWORN IN!!!
As we move from one Kansas City Mayor to the next, the level of local violence continues to rise unabated.
To wit . . .
DESPITE HOPE FOR CHANGE AS NEW KANSAS MAYOR QUINTON LUCAS TAKES POWER, THIS WEEK THE KILLING ON KANSAS CITY STREETS HAS SPIKED!!!
Turns out consultants and politicos are much more optimistic about Mayor Quinton Lucas making change than people who live in the urban core.
Again, to be fair, none of this is Mayor Quinton's fault and expecting change one day into his tenure is a bit too much.
HOWEVER, the recent spate of KCMO shooting and homicide this week demonstrates that locals caught up in violent lives aren't impacted by shifting political fortunes despite media hype.
And so, the weekend begins with a dead man discarded on local streets as the mayhem threatens to get worse in what is, traditionally, the most violent part of the Summer.
