No doubt some big shot crook will get it and bulldoze it.

Perfect spot for luxury apartments with 25 year tax abatement for the developers.

I remember that Katz and the one in Raytown as a kid. This just brought back tons of memories.

This property is not nearly at the level of "nuisance" as the two on the north and south sides of 12th Street between Oak and Locust. Tear them down first and leave this one alone.

It's blight.

Sell it cheap to a modern developer with healthy tax incentives.

Apartments with ground level yoga studio, gym, game room, and inside parking as amenities.

This old building was doomed the moment the tenants moved out. It just took a very long time to die. Next time, just plow it under and stop talking pipe dreams.

May we all reflect on our memories from Katz....fountain drinks, burgers...good values on their vast merchandise selections....
As for the building's future, different times now, who knows what would be best. Being a senior citizen, born in the 40's I visited many of the Katz Drug Stores in their day.
