  1. It was negative publicity of course. But I think most people understood that the police were doing their jobs.

The statement from the Chief helped to at least clear up the local angle.

As for the national debate, that hasn't been solved for 20 years. It won't be resolved any time soon.

    1. "Many things went out the window on July 22nd when ICE agents broke a car window to arrest Florencio Millan-Vasquez on outstanding warrants, not the least of which was Millan-Vasquez himself as he was taken into custody for outstanding arrest warrants."

      That's just damn funny.

Great stuff. Thanks for linking T, would have missed it otherwise.

  2. What was negative about it?

What was clearly pointed out here was someone who was here illegally refusing to obey law enforcement orders to step out of the car.

The breaking of the window was the reaction cause by the actions of an idiot who has watched to damn many people saying those that are illegally here in this country have all these rights that normal legal resident of this country don't.

There is nothing to keep analyzing about this event. A job had to be done and KCPD officers backed up another law enforcement agency as happens every day in cities all over this country.

  3. No, 1:09, the police were doing ICE's job.

  4. I support the police helping ICE

  5. What I'm reading is if the public stops spray painting Fuck The Police then KCPD will stop indiscriminate killing?

  6. Actually, thinking that the police should be reaching out to residents has it backwards.
People who live in high-crime neighborhoods should be reaching out to the police.
And the people who make believe that they are "leaders" in those communities should be leading the way.
Instead of making excuses and blaming everything and everyone else.
Work on fixing your problems and you'll find that there are lots of folks willing and able to help.

  7. NO. Stop asking stupid questions.

  8. 1:32 don’t make stupid choices like pointing guns, trying to run them over, shooting at them or citizens and the police won’t shoot you, it’s really simple, but apparently you can’t understand that.

If the popo shoot your dumbass then you deserved it.

  9. Stupid, stubborn Florencio sat there for almost a half-hour delaying the inevitable. He knew the kids and his stupid, stubborn "partner" were in harm's way because of his bad choices. Babymama was loco low-life to not get the kids and her sorry culo out of that car quickly.

When bad hombre, "Flo", whined to the agent, "I doan gib you bermishun to breck my weendow", YOU JUST KNEW THAT GLASS WAS GONNA GET SMASHED IN....3!....2!....BAM!....BAM!....CRACK!....CRASH!

GAME OVER, ya illegal meegrunt mofo!!!

  10. Police protect the property owning class. You didn't see Parisian Coffee Boss get the shit beat out him for not have tags and a current ID. In fact, when he complained about the police on his blog he had to redact his statement and apologize to the police? This is because the Metro Police operate like a Mafia institution that has no accountability to no one but a few large business owners. Police enforce poverty by generating revenue that keeps property taxes down. Police terrorize poor communities to destabilize neighborhoods and crush any opposition to the status quo.

    1. ^2:11, you named the wrong bean baron. And, the popos didn't beat Canady's lardass for chimpout and physically interfering with her expired tag car being towed. Your post is a load of lies.

  11. Well the democrats operate like a mafia institution. Did you see all of the people the democrats beat up over the last few years for no reason not even a expired tags or no ID? How about all of the people including cops the democrats killed simply for being present at on of their riots???

Next time you need help or need a cop call a crook or a democrat instead! Then we can talk about who terrorizes who!

  12. When the author of the article spoke with a handful of people, she learned that they all were concerned about KCPD's involvement in the arrest. That made her conclude that everybody has that concern.

Inductive reasoning at its finest. It's what they teach in J-School nowadays.

  13. It’s very simple and all of us learned It in grammar school. When the police give you an order or command , you obey. If you don’t like it, then take it up with the police board or in court, but you must obey. Otherwise we have no rule of law and that apparently is what some folks want, if the officer said get out of the car and you refused, you deserve what you got. No sympathy whatsoever.

No. Shooting random people and harassing them and hiding bad behavior behind a badge ruined community outreach.

  22. Scott estimated that between January 1916 and August 1917, more than 50,000 Southern blacks arrived in Chicago....It was a challenge for the 2,000 who arrived on just two days in May 1917 to find temporary housing. "

  23. NO. They did the correct thing by deporting his ass back where he came from.

    ReplyDelete
  24. This is all a non story. The illegal alien (correct term and usage) was in the USA illegally, for the second time. They (ICE) had a deportation order legal and signed by a judge. He was resisting arrest. Then ICE took the necessary and safe steps to take him into custody and deported him in days. The KCPD was there to observe and then arrested the woman who also had an arrest warrant for her dumb ass. What a situation, one stop, two arrests, all legal and deserved. Thank you ICE and thank you KCPD.

  25. This ICE Arrest with the assistant of KCPD is a massively huge story. This is a Ferguson Moment when cops go breaking glass in children's faces and then KCPD Officer Beck humiliates these small children and you think Chief Smith has swept this under the rug? Is this KCPD's base they are depending on for support during this miscarriage of justice. The Judge DID NOT SIGN A BENCH WARRANT_YOU ARE A RACIST LIAR!!! KCPD lending ICE a breaking tool was not worth the risk to injury. Look up the regulations you copsucker. There vehicle was pinned in between two cop cars so there was no flight risk present. Your lies doesn't mean the wife was actually arrested now does it? The problem with racist police is the only support they have out there are only racist? Granted it's one third of Kansas City but your cop sucking days are numbered.
