Here's the premise and to be fair it needs to be clarified that Sen. Hawley has NEVER uttered a critical word against the local Jewish community . . . And there would be very little support for that tactic as Missouri mainstream Conservative religious right leaders have often expressed their kinship with local Jewish leaders along with Israel as the best U.S. ally in the Middle-East. That might be a result of Christian Zionism that some find offensive but it's a widely held (and complex) Midwestern belief nevertheless . . . Checkit:

His remarks predictably targeted progressive lawmakers and the principles of liberalism in the United States - specifically, he focused his ire on the traditional enclaves of the country's "elite," the largest cities that tend to skew more Democratic and forward-thinking.
