Family frustrated with response to missing person

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The family of Mack Jones, a man reported missing last week, claims police didn't do enough before he was discovered dead over the weekend. "We did not have the support of the community or the police department when we were searching for him," Rashaunda Croffer, Jones' sister said as she and her mother, Annetta Authorlee, addressed the Board of Police Commissioners Tuesday.

  2. If both her sons weren’t doing the wrong things and living the thug life they would be alive today, can’t blame the police for that. Maybe if she only raised them better......

  3. Yes, if only SOMEBODY else, ANYBODY really had done something different, these terrible things would never happen.
But it's NEVER the fault of the individual involved.
Never a mention of behavior, personal responsibility, earning a living, common sense, concern for other people, or even just obeying the law.
Everyone else should change what they're doing.
And while you're at it, throw in a few more millions for yet another unaccountable "ant-crime" nonprofit.
    Activate the vigil. machine!
    Sad.

  4. It is not the police job to find a 30 year old grown ass man. He would have considered it harrassment if they had found him.

  5. This lady has no clue how many people a day go missing or unaccountable for long and maybe short periods of time. Oh and by the way missing isn't a crime and someone missing isn't the main reason we have police officers. I myself have been know to disappear for a weekend with same as nobody knowing of such. It is nice to just turn off the phone and go away for a few days once in a while. But along comes the era of the cell phone and if you don't answer your phone for an hour some people think a national manhunt should be started to find out where you are.
