Mother still seeking closure six years after her son was killed by police
A mother is still looking for closure six years after her son was shot and killed by a Kansas City, Missouri police officer. She shared her frustration about the civil suit held up in court. Narene Stokes-Jones doesn't sleep much. "I've had to have help in sleeping, therapy," she said.
Closure as in a big fat check is all she is seeking. Will she donate all money she gets to a worthy cause to prevent violence in the streets? No, she will haul ass to the Cadillac dealer on Main and drive away in her new Caddy. Then blow all the rest of it in a few months and be back to crying on TV about still seeking closure.
ReplyDeleteHer closure came when a grand jury said the officer was justified. A Grand Jury in Missouri only has to have 9 of the 12 say a True Bill. Missouri laws empower the jury to conduct legal proceedings and decide if there is probable cause to believe a person has committed a crime and should be indicted. The Grand Jury can ask a lot of questions and see all the evidence. The Grand Jury didn't feel this was a bad shooting by the officer or he would have been charged with such.
All the justice that needed to be done has been done. This lady needs to suck up the fact her kid messed up and that's that.
How does she know the officers are sleeping good. She thinks they go out and shoot some kid every night then come home and sleep like a baby. She can't sleep because she keeps thinking about all that money she's gonna get because her kid was a fuck up.....
ReplyDeletePolice officers are very seldom convicted of murder, regardless of the evidence. When a black man in Pittsburgh was shot in the back, in self-defense, in the end, the shooting was said to have been justified.

How many times have we seen an unarmed young black man killed in "self-defense"?
The police are afraid of young black men, so they shoot first & ask questions later.
