1 shot overnight near 35th and Askew
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City police said a victim is recovering after being shot near 35th and Askew. Officers were called the the scene just after midnight. Witnesses told police a young man came to their door, claiming to have been shot and demanding to be let inside.

Police said the victim, who they described as an “older male juvenile,”
but said the victim is being less than cooperative."
