  4. ^^^^ rush to judgement? The cop rear ended a vehicle. That’s an automatic ticket for careless driving and driving too fast for conditions. Had he not been a cop, the ticket would have been issued on the spot.

Then on top of that, due to his reckless behavior, caused the death and serious injury of others which again automatically makes it involuntary mansaughter and assault. Again had he not been an officer, the charges would have been filed within the month.

  5. Then instead of terminating the guy for clear policy violations and breaking the law, they let him resign. Then they allow officers to continue to drive police vehicles to off duty jobs which sets them up again for a repeat of this tragedy. That really makes sense.

  6. Was this a black officer hence all the kid glove treatment?

  7. KCPD needs to review it's off duty car policy ASAP.

  8. He will serve a small amount of time and the PD will pay out millions $$$. Tax payers lose, department loses, the family loses, and no good will come of this. KCPD is too corrupt to change, too top-heavy to listen, and too stubborn to admit anything
