Frustrations brew over Mission Gateway delay

MISSION, Kan. - Frustration continues to build for people working and living near the Mission Gateway development, who say there have been no signs of progress on the project for months. With plans in place to build a food hall, hotel and entertainment center near Johnson Drive and Roe Avenue, many thought construction would have ramped up by now.

    She was a Mission mayor when this fiasco started.

  5. IF that shithole development actually comes to fruition, people in the area are going to be longing for an empty dirt lot again. That whole area is a bottleneck for traffic. Add hundreds of apartments and riff raff coming in from Dotte and KCMO for entertainment and it’s gonna be huge mess.

  6. This is different. Usually this kind of mess happens on the Missouri side of the state line. Mission is suffering from KCMO Disease - the kind that promises the moon and then gives the taxpayer a kick in he nuts.
