The climax of Summer is upon us and this week the top power players overcame community sentiment in order to stay ahead of the game. Here's the lineup:

Lee's Summit School Honcho Leaves With EPIC $750K Golden Parachute

Credit where it's due . . . Notwithstanding scores of angry parents, administrators and school board members on the defensive and a community attempting to recover from culture war politics ensnaring their schools . . . Dr. Carpenter walked away with $750K along with the moral high ground according to media elite.

ICE Arrest Authority Sends Chill Up The Spine Of Kansas City Community Activists

Despite outrage over a "broken glass" arrest ICE was ultimately successful as the SENT BACK AN ILLEGAL ALIEN and offered a fact check for immigration advocates that an arrest warrant isn't required for their enforcement tactics.

Rep. Sharice Davids Upholds Establishment Democratic Party Line Despite Progressive Protest

About two dozen activists and their friends took to the streets to demand Rep. Sharice help to end "concentration camps" and ABOLISH ICE. Despite right-wing supposition regarding her political leanings, the newbie Kansas Congress-lady has proven loyal to mainstream Democratic Party positions and kept her distance from "The Squad" and more progressive forces pushing the national discourse further left.

And so . . .

This list has been compiled according to scientific TKC polling and market research data and it's a weekly comprehensive guide to local powerful people, trends and our times.

Lawyers tell their clients all kinds of crazy things, that doesn't make them true. ICE was withing their rights, on that much we agree.

^^ That doesn't make it right.

Our immigration laws shouldn't be based on racial hatred.

These refugees should be met with compassion. If not, then at some point, we should stop pretending that we are good people.

Sharice isn't as bad as they say. Good for her. I don't think there will be a Republican challenger capable of beating her. All things considered, she's doing a good job focusing on constituents needs instead of D.C. politics.

dems, do you every stop to think that every person that is allowed into (or sneaks into) the US is a person who will desperately be competing for your resources? Look in the mirror and tell me if you are in shape for the competition...
