These Kansas boxing promo hotties remind us that the fight to maintain a voice in the discourse for regular people is a constant struggle in the midst of so many corporate distractions.
We all know that Congressman Cleaver, Kris Kobach And Rep. Sharice Davids were the top ranking movers and shakers in the local-to-national discussion this week. And so tonight we focus on locals at the grassroots level working to fight for their rights . . . Take a look:
Jackson County Property Tax Assessment Protesters Fight For Their Homes

She's an Internets hero working for a good cause and over the past couple of weeks a local dog lady inspired quite a few people to become more involved in the fight for justice against alleged property crime.
As always . . .

Rep. Sharice Davids is smart to stay far, far away from the squad. She deserves credit for that.
ReplyDelete^^^^ +100. Might even win a couple of JoCo votes because of it.
DeleteThe Squad is wise not to allow Davids to get near them.
ReplyDeleteShe might be asked to say a few words that someone hadn't prepared for her and that would pretty much be the end of the scam.
On the other hand, Davids and the Squad deserve each other.
They're like the little middle school clique of mean girls who bask in their own self-importance, but that everyone hates.
Just more theater instead of any serious government.
Sad.
Genius! 6:36, you said it all!

ReplyDeleteProtesters fight for their homes??? Give me a break. These are the same people who kept voting for tax increases what did they think was going to happen. The real sticker shock comes in Nov. when they get their tax bill with the added Go Bond tacked on.
That dog lady is smokin hot.
ReplyDelete"And so the four horsepeople-of-color arise, at once the glorious avatars of Wokesterdom in all their incendiary wrath, and the butt of ridicule among a pretty big chunk of everybody else in this land. I speak of congresswomen Omar, Tlaib, Pressley, and AOC, a.k.a. “the Squad,” riding a reconn mission to the precipice of that great cliff of electoral catastrophe — in advance of the political party that is apt to follow them over the edge in 2020, like so many suicidal lemmings."
ReplyDeleteLOL Jim always nails it.
But in a political party that is always all about diversity, equity, inclusion, and at the same time, not all that interested in common sense or anyone else's opinions, why is the "Squad" ALL "women of color"?
ReplyDeleteNo Jewish members, or white, or Asian, or men.
Not even any LGBTQ, surely an unacceptable oversight!
So when these women say something offensive or stupid or both, which is embarrassingly often, of course they can then shriek about "women of color" being criticized.
They've made that decision themselves.
