Kansas City Police Confront Increase In Social Media Fake News Crime Fear

This trend might actually represent a symptom of the VERY REAL RISE IN LOCAL CRIME . . . Nevertheless, as the number of apps, networks and platforms proliferate. Local police are forced to provide the public more information . . . Which actually isn't a bad thing at all. Take a look:

Police warn of false information spreading online

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - As neighborhood watch groups move online, community members can spread information quickly and openly on public platforms. But Kansas City Police are warning neighbors that spreading false information online can be extremely dangerous, and you might be doing it without even knowing.

This must be the next newest and greatest pr tactic the city wants to try to make KCMO appear to be the 5th safest small city in the country.

Police said, "We have been notified of online rumors regarding women being followed by men on the Plaza, fearing they are being targeted for sex trafficking. We have received no reports of this activity; there have been no reported abductions, and our Vice Unit has no indication about any such 'sex trafficking group.'"

ROFLMAO oh boy we are truly hitting an all time new low when citizens know more about what is happening then our police department does.

Perhaps misinformation is a “media” cry.
They took polls that said Hillary would win.
Clearly someone was lying.
Was it the pollsters or the people?
Looks worse this year.
The media will declare the Democrat the winner the day before and blame:
1. Russians
2. Disengaged Democrats
3. Everyone but the man in the mirror.

Disinformation is up 23.6% this year along with meaningless statistics.

^^Thanks for your meaningless statistics.
