  1. Almost completely wrong about the term of Sly James. KC's greatest friend to developers.

    1. Don't understand interviewing O'Neill. He didn't have an opponent and doesn't represent a very active or involved area in KC politics. Really bad choice, he would like to be considered a Conservative and for KCMO he probably is but he is trying very hard to not come off light a lightweight and because of that he seems overeager, give him the benefit of the doubt but that council seat has always been very tenuous without a lot of influence.

  2. Touey and Trabert are just paid shills by Super PACS paid to spout their vitriol.

  4. Laura Alverez was a complete dud on this show. I hope to never see her again. Mary O'hollering is better but not by much.

  5. Wasn't impressed by "John-Stephens-Head-Of-PortKC" (wait, we don't have a 'Port", let's just give tax money to Developers without voter approval instead) either, but then he's not anyone's idea of an impressive sort of guy.

  6. RUCKUS...THY NAME IS "HYPOCRISY"

Panel Topic 1 -- Rating Mayor Sylvester

PLEASE note that panelist Jon Stephens is a POLITICAL APPOINTEE OF SYLVESTER JAMES leading the Port Authority of KC.

This was NOT disclosed on the program, and most viewers aren't aware of this fact.

Jon Stephens has been a cheerleading political hack and campaign contributor to Sylvester James.

Now knowing these facts, is it any wonder that Stephens gave the highest ranking among panelists?

Ruckus needs to implement a panelist disclosure policy ASAP.

(P.S. Congratulations to Ms. Alvarez, as women and especially the Latino community have been under-represented on programs like this.)

  7. This show is still on the air. While Check Please couldn't find funding is odd. Very odd. Also..strange.

  9. @10:35, I'm not surprised at all, I actually watched an entire episode of "Check Please" once.
I'll never get those six weeks back!
(What do you mean an half-hour? No way!)
