Wire stolen from part of Trolley Track Trail, KCATA says

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A portion of the popular Harry Wiggins Trolley Track Trail was left in the dark after thieves allegedly stole wiring along the trail. The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority on Friday said that 3,000 feet of 10-gauge wire was taken from 12 poles that light the southern part of the trail between 85th and Main streets.

A woman was taken into custody after a man was stabbed early Saturday in Olathe, police said.Police said officers were called at 1:07 a.m. to the 500 block of North Parker Terrace on a reported armed disturbance. Police found a 37-year-old man suffering from a stab wound when they arrived.
