KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A man faces robbery and other felony charges after a violent carjacking in Kansas City, Missouri. Jeremy Burchett, 28, of Kansas City, Missouri, is charged in Jackson County court with robbery, armed criminal action, tampering with a motor vehicle and resisting arrest.
Kansas City Murder Case Rampage Deets Revealed
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A man is facing assault charges in connection with a shooting that happened the day before he was arrested for murder. Jackson County prosecutors charged Albert Mangini, 40, with first-degree assault, attempted robbery, and two counts of armed criminal action for allegedly shooting a man near 39th and Troost.
Wanted In Meth Town
Independence, Missouri, police are searching for a possible suspect after an early morning shooting. Police said officers were called to the area of Kentucky Road and Brookside Avenue around 6:40 a.m. to investigate a shooting.Officers found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the abdomen.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Organizers of Kansas City Fringe Festival are looking for a man caught on camera stealing a piece of artwork. The theft happened Sunday evening after volunteers of the arts-based festival went home for the day. "We staff during the daytime, usually during noon until 8," said Cherly Kimmi, the executive director of the festival.

NAVARINO, Wis. - A group of Wisconsin residents gathered together on July 26 to hold a vigil for the two brothers who went missing on a business trip in Missouri five days earlier. Photos posted to The Town of Navarino WI, a Facebook page, show lines of cars and a pavilion full of people gathered with candles.
Local Suspect Connection
BRAYMER, Mo. - A 25-year-old man who lives at the farm that has become the focus of an investigation into the disappearance of two missing Wisconsin businessmen was charged on Friday with stealing their car. Garland Joseph "Joey" Nelson, of Braymer, Missouri, was arrested in Caldwell County on one count of tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree.
Olathe Teen Killing Case Cont'd
JOHNSON COUNTY, KS (KCTV) - A third man has pleaded guilty to murder charges in connection with the death of a 17-year-old in Olathe last year. Angelo Vincenzo Monteleone pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, and attempted aggravated robbery. He is the third person to plead guilty in connection with the teen's death.
Family Creeper Jailed Forever
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Kansas City man will spend the rest of his life behind bars after sexually abusing a disabled family member. A Jackson County judge sentenced Ronald Davie, 63, to life in prison without parole on Monday. In May, a jury convicted Davie of sodomy and incest.

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. -- A Blue Springs neighborhood is getting fed up, after being repeatedly targeted with car break-ins. Some say it has been happening for weeks, even with doors locked. The thefts have been happening in the South Manor neighborhood, just southeast of 40 and 7 highways.
