Investigation Of KCK Police Chief Zeigler Continues Despite Retirement

Community debate continues but this follow-up note is important as an ongoing behind the scenes rhetorical battle betwixt cops & the DA's office is still underway. Take a look:

WyCo DA: Criminal probe of KCK police chief remains ongoing

A criminal probe into double-dipping accusations against Kansas City, Kansas, Police Chief Terry Zeigler is not over. Zeigler told 41 Action News on Wednesday that a KBI probe cleared him of wrongdoing, but a spokesman for the Wyandotte County District Attorney said the case is ongoing.

  3. KCKFD PERSONNEL ARE TAKING THESE TOXINS HOME TO THEIR FAMILIES!!! INFANTS AND CHILDREN, SPOUSES AND OTHERS RIDE IN THE FAMILY VEHICLES THAT COULD BE COMPROMISING THEIR HEALTH, ALSO!!! THE IAFF NEEDS TO RESPOND TO THIS APPARENT EMERGENCY FOR THESE EMERGENCY RESPONDERS!!! ORDER TOXICOLOGY FORENSICS!!! DOUG BACH IS COSTING KCK MORE THAN CONSTRUCTION COSTS WITH THESE STALLS!!!7/12/19, 2:34 PM

Bet that DA and his staff are gonna be getting plenty busy with filings regarding over a dozen FUBAR firehouses. Kathy Quinn's segment this morning was another update to the ongoing neglect and NASTY in those city owned structures.

Robert Wing's short interview statements outlines how the horrid conditions that pose health hazards and safety concerns for the emergency response personnel has been pushed off, repeatedly, for well over a decade. Doug Bach, KCK Administrator, places allotments to the annual budget that don't actually forward any funds to get the repairs done.

Fire and EMS staff are put at UNNECESSARY risk for a list of ailments. Permanent damage to skin, eyes, lungs, and other organs are associated with persistent exposures to mold toxins, lead particles, asbestos dusts, and too frequent contact with chemicals in cleaners and room deodorizing products. Mold under cabinets, behind walls, and above ceilings isn't helped by the moisture from around the clock occupancy by fire and ambulance crews. Lots of showers, dish washing, wiping surfaces, mopping, and plain old breathing FEEDS THE FRIKKEN FUNGI!!!

This poses a very serious matter for the public safety of the entirety of KCK, and any neighboring cities that KCKFD may be called to service in. FD personnel may be transporting NASTIES--MOLD, LEAD, ASBESTOS, AND BUGS on their RIGS AND EQUIPMENT, MAYBE THEIR CLOTHING--to response sites!!!

  5. 2:34, let me break out my violin for over rated hero fire fucks! They chose the job just like anyone does, with anything comes risk! I dont feel sorry for anyone who joins a service knowing the risks, takes full advantage of the tax payers by supporting a corrupt political based union who could care less if one of their members saves a life or not. The Fire service is politics that shows up to your door with flashing lights when you call 911 - They are not HEROs they actually are sellouts!! yup I said it because its fucking true!!

  6. 7:56 You are more than correct!! I am a retired old school FF in the Kansas City Metro area, I wont say wich side of the line I worked because it really doesnt matter, Our Union is why we did and have done the deplorable things we have when it comes to the best interest of the city we served, and while we actually have done some good out there at times, the fact is, was, and forever will be - at the end of the day we risked our lives on the job, and our union promised us job security, promised us a good pension, good pay, and they have given us all of that. I apologize to the tax payers who trusted me to put them before me at all cost, all risk, but this is the real world and its a dog eat dog world out here. I have what I need now from the game that was played, I am set for life, Am I a hero? no not in the public eye, but I am a true hero to my family for providing for them in every way even though I sold my soul to do it. I hope the rest of you find a better way because I have mabey less than 20 years left on this planet and selling my soul to a political devil is my only regret in life!!
