Hyperloop Vaporware Promotional Garbage Simulation Coming Soon To Kansas City

Another pass just for the cheap seats . . .

THIS IS NOT TECH!!! IT'S A TOY!!!

And so, this afternoon we notice a great many "journalists" celebrating hype and a RIDE THAT GOES NOWHERE in order to tout tax subsidy and trumpet technology that doesn't even work yet.

Take a look:

Virgin Hyperloop One bringing test pod to KCK

  4. that was fun for awhile, had to go to different sprint stores around town where i was unknown to staff. It u raised your voice just a tiny bit, you would quickly be approached or surrounded by 1-3 dudes who had a trained forte in dog piing.

  12. How symbolic!
The latest "High Tech Miracle" screwing the taxpayers is a Dildo!
Can we name this one "The Geezer Hater"?
    Or is that too obvious?

  15. Another great big big idea!
Spend hundreds of millions on a high-tech transportation system in a state that has neither the money nor the expertise to maintain decent highways.
    But this is NEW!
And we don't want to be left behind!
    It never changes.

  16. So to get to St Louis on this thing you drive 30 minutes and pay for parking, spend 30 minutes going thru security, 30 minutes getting to St Louis, then when you get to St Louis you spend 30 minutes in line to rent a car, then spend 30 minutes driving to your destination. Or you could spend the same amount of time just driving to St Louis in your car.

The only ones who would save time are those who would live by the station and work on the other end by that station.
