Here's The Pricey Kansas City Crossroads Apartment You'll Have To Rent For Your Hipster Youngster OR Creative-Class Mistress

Take a good look at yet another boring looking tower that will block out the sun and any remaining vestige of creativity in the Crossroads.

The pitch that hipsters can forward to their rich daddy:

"Copaken Brooks, CP Real Estate Capital and Burns & McDonnell are partnering to design and build REVERB — a distinctive apartment building at 18th and Walnut in the Crossroads Arts District in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. When complete, it will sit 14-stories high with 132 units atop a two-story, above ground parking garage. Construction started January 2019 with completion anticipated in the summer of 2020. At Reverb, tenants are given a space that they can truly make their own. The amenities can be found in the surrounding neighborhood, and the interior provides a blank canvas where occupants can implement their unique style, taste and collections . . ."

  1. Why are they not posting what rent charges will be? Because as we all know the rates will be very high is why. I'm going to bet a studio will start at 1299 a month plus more for extras.

  2. I have a tough time believing there's enough jobs in town to support all this shit

  3. I have a tough time believing that there’s a need for all this shit. Didn’t the red star report last month that everybody was moving out of downtown and going to the burbs?

  4. Just because everyone here either lives in a trailer Raytown, or has the worst codes violating house in their crap 70s neighborhood in Joco (I see you Tracy) doesn’t mean everyone has to be meth adjacent.
