DEADLY GUNFIRE ECHOES THROUGH KCK AGAIN AFTER POLICE SHAKEUP!!!

Earlier this month the KCK police chief resigned as protesters demanded his job and he faced investigation for his decisions in office.

Since the chief has resigned we've noticed an uptick in KCK crime and gunfire in the urban core. The violence might not be related but it's indicative the challenges that law enforcement confront in this enclave.

Check the roundup of deadly gunfire last night . . .

- Police responded to the area of 49th St. and Dixie Ct. on a double shooting. Two people were injured, and one person was still in the hospital as of Sunday morning.

- At about 2:30 a.m., police responded to a reported shooting in the 1900 block of N. Allis. When they arrived, they found one person dead at the scene.

Police are still investigation and if anyone has any information, please call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.

  1. KCK Leaders are embarrassing. East of 435 is terrible. East of 635 is a third world country.
