Social media pressure and MSM questions inspired this Northland ruckus along with continued proof that white people FAIL at local government, too . . . Checkit:

Clay County Commission votes down controversial land deal

MATT: THIS WAS A VERY HEATED MEETING TODAY. TAXPAYERS SHOWED UP AND QUESTIONED THE DEAL ONCE AGAIN. >> DISAPPOINTED! >> FOR MORE THAN A MONTH, TAXPAYERS HAVE QUESTIONED WHY THE COUNTY WOULD BUY THIS VACANT LOT AT MISSOURI 1ST AND 72ND STREET. IT'S OWNED BY ONE OF CLAY COUNTY COMMISSIONER GENE OWEN'S FRIENDS, AND POLITICAL CONTRIBUTORS.

No need for a different Annex, the one in existence is only busy at Property Tax Payment time.

What’s interesting is that “real estate” is an Executive session subject. This commission is out of control.

The current annex works just fine. They have the land to expand if needed, but maybe a simple renovation would work. County government needs a renovation as well.
